recyclingcoordinator
As
recycle coordinator, students would be assigned one of the buildings on
campus that have recycling facilities. They would be responsible for collecting
recyclable material throughout the building and bringing it to a central
location for pickup.
In administrative and classroom buildings, full recycle bins need to be
collected from all floors and set in the recycling area on the main floor.
After pickup, empty recycle bins need to be collected and returned to
their original positions.
In residential halls, the bags of full recycle bins need to be securely
fastened and collected from all floors and set in the fenced-off area
behind each dorm. Missouri Hall is an exception, where bags are to be
placed neatly on the curb for pickup. Replace bags in the recycle bins
when this is completed.
Coordinators are also responsible for communicating any problems their
assigned buildings are having to the Recycle Center Coordinator, Howard
Worcester. Coordinators are encouraged to promote the recycling facilities
in their assigned building with flyers, posters, etc. by the recycling
area and at hall meetings. Some materials are provided by the center.
recyclecenterassistants
As an assistant for the recycle center, students would be responsible for picking up the recyclable material from various buildings on campus. Assistants would also help Howard sort recyclable material at the Recycling Center.
