Plastic Bottles
1. After leaving Truman Recycling center, pop bottles head to manufacturing plants.
2. The manufacturer removes the caps and labels from the recycled bottles because those parts are made form different materials.
3. They sort the bottles by color and chop them into small pieces that are then washed and dried.
3. Those pieces are sanitized, heated and spun into fibers.
4. These fibers are used to make products such as t-shirts, socks, tote bags, lunch bags and more!

Glass
1. Once the glass is collected from the recycle bins on campus, it is brought to Truman's recycling center for processing.2. The glass is then put into a grinder which grinds the glass into tiny pieces.
3. These small pieces of glass are then used in various places around campus like ashtrays and they are also used to make concrete for sidewalks!
